Overview

About Aeroates:

At Aeroates, we believe that strong businesses are built around people. We provide workforce solutions and HR advisory services that help businesses manage their people, employment obligations and workforce needs with confidence.

The Opportunity:

As we continue to develop our services and expand into new markets, we are looking for a proactive, commercially minded Commercial Relationship Executive to help drive business growth, strengthen client relationships and support the smooth running of our office.

This is a hands-on role combining business development, sales, marketing collaboration, client relationship management and office administration. The successful candidate will take ownership of commercial opportunities from initial prospecting through to proposals, follow-up and closing, while working collaboratively with colleagues and marketing resources.

Key responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify, research and pursue new business opportunities across aviation, maritime, logistics, transport, technology, financial services and other relevant sectors.
  • Proactively generate leads through direct outreach, networking, referrals, LinkedIn, email and other appropriate channels.
  • Research prospective clients, decision-makers, market trends and potential demand for Aeroates' services.
  • Engage with prospective clients to understand their requirements and identify suitable workforce solutions and HR advisory services.
  • Prepare and coordinate quotations, proposals, presentations and service descriptions tailored to client needs.
  • Own the follow-up process, respond to enquiries, address objections and progress opportunities through negotiation to closing, within agreed commercial parameters.
  • Maintain momentum across the sales pipeline, ensuring each opportunity has a clear next action and follow-up date.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell services and develop additional business from existing clients.

Marketing Collaboration & Commercial Growth

  • Work closely with internal, group-level and/or external marketing resources to plan and implement marketing initiatives that support Aeroates' commercial objectives.
  • Contribute ideas for campaigns, content, promotional materials, email outreach, events and targeted prospecting initiatives.
  • Help ensure Aeroates' services and value proposition are communicated consistently to relevant audiences.
  • Follow up promptly on marketing-generated enquiries and convert qualified leads into meetings, proposals and paying clients.
  • Monitor lead quality and campaign results, providing feedback and recommendations to improve engagement and conversion.
  • Identify potential referral partners, networking opportunities and channels that could generate new business.

Client Relationships & Coordination

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and follow up on outstanding commercial matters.
  • Coordinate the handover of new clients to the relevant HR, accounts and operational colleagues, ensuring service requirements and agreed terms are clearly documented.
  • Identify client needs, opportunities for additional services and potential areas for improving client retention.
  • Support the preparation and coordination of commercial documentation, renewals and changes in service scope.

Commercial Planning, Reporting & Performance

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, prospect lists and sales pipeline information.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts and pipeline reports covering leads, meetings, proposals, conversion rates, expected revenue and outstanding actions.
  • Monitor the performance of sales and marketing activities and recommend practical improvements.
  • Track opportunities by lead source, sector and service line to help identify the most effective routes to market.
  • Work with management to translate commercial objectives into practical sales activities and measurable targets.
  • Escalate non-standard pricing, material contractual terms and higher-risk commercial commitments for approval.

Office Administration & Operational Support

Approximately 25% of the role will be dedicated to general office administration and operational support, including:

  • Coordinating meetings, correspondence, documentation and routine follow-ups.
  • Maintaining organised commercial and administrative records, filing and documentation.
  • Monitoring routine administrative deadlines and supporting internal reporting.
  • Assisting with office coordination and general organisational requirements.
  • Supporting colleagues with reasonable administrative tasks necessary for the smooth running of Aeroates.

The allocation between responsibilities may vary according to business priorities, while maintaining the overall balance of the role.

What we're looking for:

  • A relevant qualification in business, marketing, management or a related field.
  • Preferably 3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, account management, commercial coordination or a comparable client-facing role.
  • Proven experience in generating leads, developing business relationships and progressing opportunities towards a commercial outcome.
  • Confidence in preparing quotations or proposals, managing follow-ups, handling objections and supporting negotiations.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, results-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to balance commercial priorities with administrative tasks.
  • Good working knowledge of CRM systems, Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.

What we offer:

  • A varied role with meaningful responsibility in a growing business.
  • Direct collaboration with management and the opportunity to contribute ideas.
  • Exposure to different sectors, clients and commercial opportunities.
  • Flexible working arrangements.
  • A competitive fixed salary complemented by performance-related incentives.
