The HR Executive will play a dynamic and pivotal role, requiring a detail-oriented individual who works effectively both independently and as part of a team. This role serves as the first point of contact for employees and clients, ensuring smooth communication and the timely resolution of requests and queries.
The HR Executive supports both employees and clients throughout the full employee journey and provides guidance to help ensure HR practices are compliant with legal and organisational requirements. The role also involves maintaining accurate records and assisting in the development and maintenance of policies, processes, and documentation, contributing to a compliant, efficient, and employee-focused HR environment.
Confidentiality is essential in this role, with the HR Executive safeguarding sensitive human resource information and supporting departmental operations.
The HR Executive will report to and work closely with, the HR & Compliance Manager, while also collaborating with other team members to promote best practice and deliver high-quality HR services.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as point of contact for employees and clients, offering timely and accurate information and guidance on policies and procedures.
• Handle employee relations cases in line with policies and legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate HR records and documentation for both employees and client organisations.
• Stay up to date on Maltese labour laws, health & safety requirements, and aviation HR practices.
• Collaborate closely with the HR & Compliance Manager and other professionals to promote best practice and deliver high-quality HR
• Support with the process of collecting and collating HR information, re-ports and data when required;
• Be on top of all administrative processes and correspondence with relevant authorities such as Jobsplus, and Identita’ amongst others;
• Provide administrative support for learning and development, disciplinary processes, and internal communications.
• Prepare and issue employment letters and other essential HR documentation
• Drive employee engagement initiatives, and other recognition activities, to foster a positive workplace culture.
• Proactively contribute ideas for HR proposals and plans, supporting the continuous improvement and development of the department.
• Be involved in and contribute to other HR projects as requested as well as continuously participate in the achievement of the HR department’s metrics;
• Provide general support and handle ad hoc duties as required.

Minimum Level 5 qualification or equivalent in Human Resources or related field.
At least two years experience in an HR role (experience in Malta is an asset).
Good understanding of HR best practices, labour law compliance, and employee relations.
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
