Are you ready to lead a dynamic team and ensure seamless flight crew scheduling? We are looking for a skilled Crew Planning Team Lead to oversee and manage the crew schedules for compliance, enhance operational efficiency, and provide strong leadership to a motivated team.
As the Crew Planning Team Lead, you will allocate resources, resolve scheduling conflicts, and ensure adherence to aviation regulations. Your organizational skills, ability to handle unexpected changes, and proficiency in scheduling software will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Crew Scheduling Management: Develop and manage crew schedules, ensuring regulatory compliance and optimal coverage.
• Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources to meet operational needs and ensure crew coverage.
• Operational Efficiency: Analyze data and workflows to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Policy Implementation: Maintain and implement policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment and seamless operations.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with crew members regarding schedules and any changes.
• Conflict Resolution: Resolve any scheduling conflicts promptly and professionally.
• Team Leadership: Lead, train, and supervise a positive and efficient team.
• Task Delegation: Delegate tasks based on team members’ skills and capacity.
• Performance Management: Conduct regular evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and set goals for team development.
Do You Have What It Takes?
• Previous experience in flight crew scheduling or aviation operations.
• Strong understanding of aviation regulations (e.g., EASA FTL) and crew licensing requirements.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptability to handle unexpected changes while maintaining efficiency.
• Outstanding communication skills for clear and effective interaction with teams and crew members.
• Proficiency in crew scheduling software (e.g., AIMS) and related tools.
• Proven success in leading, motivating, and managing a team.
Previous experience in a similar position.
A university degree in aviation-related studies.
